Really nice deco... read more Left a phone message during the week to book dinner for two on Saturday 13th Nov. Got a return call quickly from a very pleasant, helpful lady. Really nice decor, atmosphere and especially staff. Covid checks on entry and the tables are well spaced. My 8oz ribeye steak was more rare than the medium I asked for but it was delicious so I didn't feel the need to say anything. No problem when I asked for potato and veg rather than the thrice cooked chips (which came with the other meal and were delicious). I did feel the portions were a little on the small side. The staff were attentive but not intrusive and were good craic. The Eton Mess dessert is absolutely gorgeous, and very good coffee. Looking forward to our next visit.

I ordered a steak which was overcooked first and was taken back, then it was undercooked on the second attempt. I ended up getting a burger and chips which I wasn’t charged for which I felt was the good way of dealing with the situation.

The staff was friendly and accommodated our questions. We stumbled upon this place, and boy are we thankful we did!!
