I... read more I would rate as a 3.5, but I’m rounding down because of the overall average score. I’m also dropping a point because of the gratuity situation I detail below. I’ll modify it back upward if there’s some clarity. We sat on the front patio during lunch service. The good came out fairly quickly. We had a salad and some wraps. Ordering the chicken “blackened” is the right move. Pricing was reasonable for lunch and drinks. Even though only 3 of us were seated, the bill included an automatic “large group gratuity” of 20%. I’m guessing it’s just added to every patio service, but I think it should be clearly stated on the menus. I normally tip 25-30% so I don’t care about the amount, but I almost tipped 25% on top of the 20% gratuity. I feel like it was intentionally misleading on the part of the restaurant. I also hope that the 20% is actually a gratuity and not a service charge absorbed by the business. I understand wanting to protect the servers especially with the extra distance for serving outside…but I have questions….
