When you walk in, the environment is spot on. The monitors showing craft beers, the suit case decorations, even the bar looks premium. The music played was relaxing, definitely nice for a brunch. Moving to the food, the cinnamon stroodle French toastwas is what me and my friend ordered. Presentation wise, everything was present. Flavor wise, it melts in your mouth. It is verysweet, almost overpowering the cinnamon. However, the crunch of the French toast makes up for it. If you're a texture eater likeme, you'll enjoy this dish.
This is a great spot to have a bite to eat and watch the game on Sundays. The bar here is large and stretches across the entire restaurant. They have booths and table inside as well as a large patio area. They even have a closed in area adjacent to thepatio that can be used year round. The menu is not huge, but the food is high quality. I had the spicy avocado bacon burger andit was delicious, I opted to go with the sweet potato waffle fries and the were crisp and crunchy on the outside yet soft on theinside, perfect! They have a large selection of beers and even offer 32oz crowlers to go. I am just visiting, but if I lived inthe area, this place would become a favorite.
We came in on a Sunday night about 7:30. It wasn't empty, but wasn't all that busy. We ordered drinks, 1 of which came incorrectly, then I ordered a ciabatta and my husband ordered chicken sliders and fries. We waited over 30 minutes for thefood, and the waitress stopped by after 25 minutes to say it will be out in a few minutes with no other explanation. The foodwasn't bad, but not worth waiting for. If this is standard practice I guarantee we won't be back.
Nice beer selections. Fun atmosphere. Friendly staff and great service. 1 round of drunks and appetizers for 4 was $60.
