Whiskey Haze is fantastic! I only tried a drink and an appetizer, but they were both great. The 'Two Mile' cocktail is a delightful blend of Basil Hayden, Pernod Absinthe, jasmine tea, peach nectar, and bitters. I also enjoyed the bread basket, which was not only delicious but beautifully presented and very filling. I can't wait to try an entrée on my next visit. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was lovely. I highly recommend this place for delicious food and drinks in Washington Heights!
Incredible! The drink menu is outstanding, featuring a great selection of whiskey, and it’s clear they are dedicated to expanding it further. The owners and managers were attentive to our needs and enjoyable to chat with. The food was excellent as well. We tried the mushroom tart, risotto, and citrus chicken, all of which were delicious and satisfying. I believe I’ve found my new favorite spot on North Ave!
We’re thrilled to see a fantastic new restaurant open up near Vennture Coffee, Brew, and Paloma Taco and Tequila. Whiskey Haze is a perfect addition to this area, offering an extensive selection of whiskeys and bourbons along with an excellent dinner menu. We’ve tried several dishes, including the cheese plate, the charcuterie and cheese combo, the Portuguese pot roast (which we loved so much we went back for more!), and the risotto (also a repeat favorite). Their cocktails are impressive as well; I highly recommend the Basin Street and the classic Manhattan made with the owner's choice of bourbon. The drink prices are very reasonable, and they aim to provide the community with access to new and rare whiskeys at fair prices. We’re eagerly looking forward to joining their bourbon trail club!
We live out of town and we were lucky to find Whiskey Haze. We loved the chicken wings and the shrimp appetizer. My risotto with steak was very flavorful. My husband enjoyed the mushroom tart. The cocktails were delicious. I would recommend this restaurant if you like cute, small neighborhood places with an excellent selection of whiskeys.
I had a wonderful experience here after an afternoon Brewers game. We had the goat cheese crostini and the heights burger with brussel crisps. The burger was great, but I especially recommend the crostini and brussel crisps. We sat outside and the bartender/server was very attentive going back and forth to take our orders. I don't live in Milwaukee or I would be back more often.
