Never. we had on Saturday reservations for 5:30 P.M. most of our party were around 5:20 there. my man and I ran around 15 minutes too late. before our arrival,... read more Never. we had on Saturday reservations for 5:30 P.M. most of our party were around 5:20 there. my man and I ran around 15 minutes too late. before our arrival, the manager of our party said they would have to hurry and place their order. my brother called us to inform us that he had to take our order on the phone. when we arrived, the restaurant was overcrowded to the point that several people were unpleasant that eating was not good. there were several complaints from my party. the muddles were not good, the quiet pasta had no rest in it, and everything had the same white soße. the pizza was okay. My 74 year old mother and I were looking for a place to eat and I spotted Tenuta's. I'd been intending to try this place anyway so we pulled up and entered. We were immediately accosted by some uniformed waiter , a short male . He said they were closed for a private party fine, but you could put a sign at the door and pushed my mother towards the door by her shoulder. Now I doubt I ever will patronize Tenuta's .

This place was great. Set on a corner in an old house in a nice Milwaukee neighborhood wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but it was cool. The $ I think is a bit off (or rated a bit high), but I may be comparing my experience to Chicago or Seattle costs, which are much higher. Food drinks were great. Fairly extensive wine list. I'd definitely recommend will go back

Our host was very kind and got our table ready even though we didn?t have a reservation. I do recommend making one ahead of time because it seemed to get very busywhile we waited for our food, which was a very long wait. It took nearly an hour for our food to arrive, and we got there beforethe rush started. Our server was professional and friendly, she checked up on us often. My family said they wouldn?t come backbecause the food was okay but not great. I, however, would come back for the Shrimp Scampi, aside from the strong garlic flavorand garlic pieces, I actually enjoyed this dish. We also got a tiramisu for desert and were extremely disappointed. It was verydry and thick, and lacked coffee flavor, I do not recommend the tiramisu here. Over all had an okay experience at Tenuta?s.

So glad my brother lives in wauwatosa and I can come when I visit. This is my second time going and it still was delicious withzero disappointment? Our server was ok, nothing above and beyond. Kinda felt like she was ready to go home.
