The staff is excellent, and the food is great. It's a solid spot for a lunchtime burger, which was cooked to perfection.
I ordered a spicy Bloody Mary and a cheeseburger cooked as rare as possible. The Bloody Mary was decent—nothing extraordinary, but still enjoyable. However, the cheeseburger truly impressed me. It was made from a fresh, hand-formed patty that had a fantastic grilled flavor. I had been expecting the usual frozen patties, but this was a delightful surprise. It was rare and juicy, topped with fresh ingredients, and honestly better than I had hoped for from a dive bar.
Honestly, I was impressed with rollies. The best of all worlds for a bar. Small, local, diverse, and they seemed down to clown. Whatever type of fun you wanted to have, it was ok at Rollies. And a place where you really can play anything on the jukebox is a gem. (I've been to a lot of bars with unspoken rules about what's ok and what's not. That's not fun.
