Was Todd at Lupi Iris a mag?
The location is stunning! We stopped for drinks before heading to a dinner reservation at another place. The staff was incredibly friendly. We'll definitely need to return for dinner sometime. View all feedback.

What I don’t understand is why they have tables in the front of the restaurant that no one seems to want to sit at. It’s an expensive place with great food; it makes no sense to have those tables there! They should really consider updating their decor for a more cohesive look, rather than just apologizing to customers and making them wait. The young lady who seated us was great. But, our particular Server was NOT the most polite. We had to ask for bread and butter... then he said they couldn't remove the Mussels Scallops from my Pasta. Wanted Snapper, they didn't have that. I ended up only having a Salad. I have literally had better Customer Service at McDonald's, Chic Fil A, and Wendy's! To add insult to injury, when we were leaving although the Hostess apparently validated our ticket, clearly it was not because we still ended up paying $5.40 to leave the garage.

Was in town for a conference and this place was recommended by our hotel. The food, service and ambiance are absolutely excellent. I called ahead to ask about dietary restrictions and they made a reservation and noted it down. From being warmly welcomed in to the moment we left, the customer service was fantastic. Laura F. was our server and she was the absolute best. Her attention to detail was much appreciated. She explained every gluten free option they had and how their kitchen staff deals with dietary restrictions which made me feel extra comfortable about the dining experience. She also recommended the scallops and they did not disappoint. Thank you, Laura, for the amazing service you provided. This was definitely one of the top dining experiences I’ve had to date.

We sat at the chefs counter and did the tasting menu and had such an amazing experience! the staff was warm, friendly and funny. the food was sooo delicious and flavorful with flawless and fresh execution. our server CJ was genuine and helpful. The rest of the staff would smile and interact with us-shout out to Chance who made us laugh. and lastly special shout out to the kitchen who we got to watch work really hard! Thank yall for such a good time and looking forward to when we can come again! :

Went to Lupi Iris on 8/19 and sat at a kitchen view high top table. Before any details, this might have been the best overall meal I have ever had from start to finish. Drink: Whistlepig Old Fashioned. Not the Wisconsin way but traditional and very good. Apps: Pork Belly 8.5/10 a little small but tasty. Just wished more sauce Ratatouille 10/10 Different but amazing. Set on focaccia with ricotta underneath Cavatelli 9.5/10 Great flavor with the Calabrian chilis. Just wish there was more pasta in it Entrees: Steak Frites Special: 10/10 Bavette Wagyu: 10/10 Both steaks were medium rare. Cooked to perfection. Literally melting in your mouth and seasoned appropriately Dessert: Caramel pot de creme: 10/10 Chocolate Mouse with special side Banana whip: 10/10 Neither too cloyingly sweet. Just well executed desserts. Honestly, been to the starred places in NY/DC. This overall meal is better than places like even Le Bernadin. While I have had amazing individual dishes in these types of places, the overall meal at Lupi and Iris stands above those. Congrats to the chef and his team that was working that night.
