Very interesting and varied selections. Highlights were dessert, steak tartar and wagyu (sp? beef steak but all the courses were great. I've had my last pairing of wine at a tasting menu. Not just at EsterEv but in general, sommeliers are always challenging you to try something out of your wheelhouse. The concept of the combined tables was great, but our group had a group of 4 in our 10, which made it hard to mesh as a total table. In that case it might have been preferred to somehow be able to have more private seating. We kept trying to join the group, but it was not happening and the couple we'd be most likely to chat to was furthest from us. The food, wine, and descriptions by staff were outstanding.
