Hands-down the number one Mexican restaurant in Milwaukee. Take a look at my enchiladas in the photo. You can’t even see them because there’s so much cheese on top. If you’re into the perfect authentic enchiladas, great! I’m into the enchiladas with a lot of cheese and these have it. Botanas hasn't changed much in years. Extensive menu, large amount of seating, fantastic service. Food is exactly what you should expect from a large restaurant on the south side of Milwaukee like this. That being said, we ate the chips and salsa like it was going to be taken away in the next ten seconds. Everything was good, not great. View all feedback.
This place is one of our favorites. The staff is always welcoming and the ambience is fun. The food is always fresh and always tasteful. Never disappointed with Botanas. We are always happy. Try this! They won't be disappointed.
Jaime's favorite quickly became one of me. Four different enchiladas to seduce the palate. attentive, quick, friendly service. Good drinks. Some of the best Mexican food I had in some time. Very recommended!
1. Once in, order the Enchiladas and they were soooo good! Asked the server in her opinion and she hacked me! Had 2 drinks and they were pretty good that the blue moon Margarita was strong enough to make me wish another. Definitely recommend this place and I am back.
One of my favorite restaurants in Milwaukee! I was a handful of time and every time it was very good. I recommend the Burritos and Enchiladas, and I just scratched the surface of their menu that hosts such a strong variety. The Enchiladas and Margaritas were absolutely great and there is a record that comes with every Enchilada. They also have a really good salsa. I always love a restaurant with a good salsa to go with chips at the table before the meal. Thanks for the great food Botanas!
The BEST authentic Mexican food in Milwaukee, WI by far!!!! The service was amazing as well. My family and I had an EXCELLENT time celebrating my sister's birthday
