This place is fantastic! It originally started as Casegrande's, then transformed into Butch's, and now it's known as Bert's. I've visited several times, and the food is...

Fantastic local bar with a friendly atmosphere! Our waitress Mary was incredibly welcoming and made our experience even better. We visited on a Wednesday for wing night and tried four different flavors, all of which were delicious.

This was my second visit to Bert's at a friend's request. My first experience earned only one star, but this time everything improved significantly. The service was slow, yet attentive, and the place was quite busy. I would...

I went for the friday fish fry, and although the portion size was nothing special, it was incredibly good. The place has a ton of parking space- though there's not a lot of sitting room inside. Service is a little slow, but it's alright. The wine selection is great, and the community of regulars is even better. This place is something special.... also, there is the absolute cutest dog, and they are actually the best.

Solid down to earth spot-especially for a traditional Wisconsin fish fry. Great prices. Food: spot on. The 3 pc fried cod was one of the best in MKE. Perfectly balanced-not too heavy and a little crispy. Fries were nice and crisp. Best rye bread with a fry I’ve had. Service: Pretty slow but understandably since they were in the weeds. Don’t come here looking for city-speed service. It would be nice if their paychecks included a QR code to pay. Otherwise, there’s a long URL you have to type in manually to look at your check. Atmosphere: it’s a quaint bar inside. Wisconsin feels for sure. There’s a patio just off the Main Street. It’s fairly serene especially during the sun set. Definitely worth a visit for a fish fry and old fashioned.
