We have had consistently great service and food for the past few years! We love the clam chowder and fish fry. The crab legs are also a favorite, along with the well seasoned prime rib! The beer battered shimp and perch are also impressive and tasty. They are always served fresh and hot! The prices are reasonable and there is a fun atmosphere. What Yolanda Weimann doesn't like about Amelia's:
If you want to throw your money away, here's the place for you. The Bartender treats the customers with complete disrespect, she likes to start drama and then sits back and watches and laughs about it. She thinks she's got it good here because she says she’s friends with the co owner. Nasty, dirty and unclean kitchen and to make things even worse the staff here has really bad attitudes...

She thinks she's got it good here because she says she’s friends with the co owner. And dont take any complaints to her because your service will get worse and then you do not want to come back, unless you like being treated with disrespect. So do not spend your money here at Amelia’s, there are some many nicer places around that respect there customers and want and need you to come back....
Been wanting to try this place for awhile; was happy to come in for fish fry last week. Place was busy, but we were seated right away in the dining area in the back (we were surprised at how large the place was bigger than it looks from the outside). Amazingly cheerful and efficient staff; everyone we came in contact with seemed genuinely happy to be there and happy to see us, plus genuinely interested in whether we were enjoying our meal. We were! We chose the cod fish fry, which came with rye bread, coleslaw, tartar sauce and your choice of fries or house made chips. The food arrived piping hot, like it was JUST out of the fryer, and so good. Nice seasoning on the breading, and also in the coleslaw just a bit of peppery to wake it up from being an ordinary side dish. Prices were reasonable , $13.95 for an AYCE, $3 less for a 3 piece meal. I do recommend you go early the parking lot was jammed at 5 p.m., and we counted ourselves lucky to be seated quickly. There were lines by the time we left.

From a handicapped person's point of view, the wait staff is very friendly and very professional. The daily specials are affordable and really delicious. I recommend them all the time !!!
