The restaurant's decor is warm and inviting. We started with the arancini appetizer, which consisted of three rice balls served in a delicious sauce—plenty for sharing. I ordered the pork, which was cooked to perfection and incredibly juicy. My partner chose the tomatenröserei, and he really enjoyed it. The food arrived promptly, and the waitress inquired about any food allergies before we ordered. I appreciate creat... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Madre Osteria:
The carbonara was barely warm, and the portion was quite small. Additionally, my order was incorrect—I asked for ziti but received a different dish instead. The espresso martinis were excellent, which was the only enjoyable part of the meal. View all feedback.
Tried this restaurant for the first time tonight. Sat inside at a booth. Our waiter who we later learned is the manager was friendly. I got the chicken parm which was dry and pounded so thin I wasn?t sure there was chicken in between the breading. He didn?t come back to check on us after we got our meals so I had to flag him down to ask for more marinara while he was quickly walking by and chewing food in his mouth. When he came back with the marinara it slipped and spilled all over the table. He apologized, walked away and never came back to clean it up. Instead he was then seen sitting at the bar having a meal. This restaurant is very cute and has a nice outdoor seating area but I won?t be back after such a disappointing experience.
We were seated on time (outside but sat for 15-20 minutes before anyone even came to our table. The patio area was very nice but there we children running wild all over the place screaming and hollering, don't get me wrong I love children but when you are out on a Friday night I expect parents to respect the rights ofother people dining not to use an outdoor dining space as a playground. Someone from the restaurant should be aware and limit this or the restaurant will not get patrons who want to enjoy good food in a relaxed atmosphere. The food was Excellent! The waitress was very nice but maybe she had too many tables. Please try to improve on the commotion as I would love this to be my go to place in Milton!! Again best meal I've had in a long time(meatballs and bucatini and salmon, but hard to enjoy fully.
Visited Madre Osteria as part of a post wedding get together. The canapés were Italian themed of course, and they were delicious and plentiful. The wait staff were very polite, attentive and friendly. Well done to all concerned. Ciao.
I had high hopes coming here because I love Italian food and the restaurant is so warm and nicely decorated. The food is good too and our server was lovely and friendly, but I have some criticisms: 1. They not only gave us an outdated menu, but when we ordered a bottle of wine that was NO LONGER OFFERED, instead of coming back to inform us and correcting the error, we were instead presented with a DIFFERENT wine that was HALF the cost of the original wine! Then when the manager tried to explain, we were told because we ?pointed to the wine at the bottom of the list? that?s what they brought out? but that wasn?t true either!! The wine that was offered was halfway up the list! 2. One of my kids ordered Angel Hair pasta, but when the dish was served, it CLEARLY was NOT Angel Hair and my kid was very disappointed because he had never seen Angel hair pasta before. The explanation given was they ran out of angel hair pasta so it was substituted with spaghetti without informing us. 3. We could see the manager eating and drinking at the bar during prime dinner time which is unprofessional in my opinion. 4. Finally, we were about to order dessert and this time was told that pretty much half their desserts were sold out. By that point, we didn?t want dessert anymore and promptly asked for the check. This is very unfortunate because while the food was good, the service and experience is quite a turn off.
When hosting clients providing a quality experience is a must. Word of mouth and reputation is one of the most important aspects and unfortunately we weren?t given any reasons to pass on positive reviews. This was a bad experience starting with the manager, as he was borderline offensive and made no effort to correct his mistakes, stating he simply forgot to make notes in the reservation book the multiple times we spoke about our preferences as we were bringing the restaurant 20 guests. He simply shrugged off the fact that we weren?t set up for the right amount of people or in the section of the restaurant we asked for 3 weeks ago. He never visited our table or offered any apologies after we spoke. Additionally, the older blonde woman present in the bar area (we assume management? repeatedly rolled her eyes and smirked at our group as she passed by, which confused us as we all ordered quality drinks and entrees and spent a lot of money in the restaurant. Was she annoyed by the fact that a large section of our party was Spanish speaking? We can?t think of anything else, as no tastelessness was shown on our side and the entirety of our group consisted of young, wealthy professionals. Finally, our waitress seemed to be annoyed at the fact that she was there serving our party. We were consistently pushed to order before the entire party had arrived because the restaurant was closing in 2 hours. She even told some of the guests to order from the host, which is certainly not appropriate.
