Best local diner! This is a one man diner. Everything is made fresh. No waitresses on duty, but may have occasional helpers. He will seat you as he can serve you. Makes excellent food and makes sure it is cooked and served hot. Be patient and you willreceive a great breakfast/dinner.

Huge portions and very fair prices. I definitely got value for my money. Ordered the bacon cheese steak sub and it arrived quickly and hot. When I complimented the iced tea, the owner was kind enough to give me a few bags to try here at home. If Ilived near here I would visit all the time.

Stopped by when I was in the area and no one was inside so I was skeptical. But, after the French toast and perfect over-medium eggs came out, I?m a true fan. The French toast was so good it was crispy and light like it was deep fried. Definitely recommenda stop here.

Gave this a shot because the line across the street was to the door. Came in and there was no line and tables open, which should have been my first warning. We waited at the sign saying please wait to be seated, which was right next to two opentables. The owner and waitress saw us, and looked at us for about 10 minutes while we stood there next to the open tables, until we finally left. We would understand if they were busy but the waitress was leaning against a booth, not doing anything, looking at us standing there next to open tables waiting to be seated. We went back next door, stood in line and were greetedwarmly and got a table in about 15 minutes. JUST WAIT IN LINE ACCROSS THE STREET! It goes very fast, the food is excellent, very fairly priced and the place is a Pittsburgh landmark. You will get your food fast (like less than 10 minutes from when youorder). You will not be disappointed or treated rudely across the street. There?s a reason this place is empty, and it?s theservice.

The people there could not be more personable. We were greeted immediately by Steve who seated us and got our drinks. Chef then came and took our orders. He has such a sense of humor and is so friendly. I ordered the Greek omelet which was overstuffed with spinach, olives, green peppers and onions as well as feta. The omelet was served with toast and home fries. Delicious as usual. The placed was filled to capacity by the time we left. Great food. My omelet was $9.99
