A winner on all counts for breakfast. Waitress was terrific efficient and very funny. Food was outstanding, 6 different meals and all were delighted with their choice. View all feedback.

What lynn fair dislikes about The Appalachian Trail Cafe:
The server was horrible. She forgot eggs for one order and didn't mark no onions/peppers on another ruining the breakfast. Overcharged for gluten free. Charged for gluten free and regular toast. Only response was my bad and I am not able to do anything about it. Very dismissive. View all feedback.

This is a great breakfast café. We dined here for a leisurely late breakfast on a quiet Sunday morning in early fall. The Milinocket special, featuring chopped tater tots topped with grilled onions and cheese and served with two eggs, was just as described and absolutely delicious. The special French toast with apples was also impressive. The food was served hot and expertly prepared, and the portions were generous. The service was friendly and prompt. While prices weren't the cheapest, they were quite reasonable for today's standards.

UPDATE YOUR HOURS, they close at 1 pm. Love this place but really disappointed the hours aren’t updated. Came from out of town to do some hiking at Baxter park, and I was so excited to come here with my wife. The least the owner can do is update their hours online so people who are not locals can plan accordingly.

Food was yummy! Service was good too depending on who you get. Sometimes felt disingenuous and curt. Pancake was delicious.

I loved this little restaurant. Impeccable abuse. People can write things on the ceiling. Parking: On the street
