A winner on all counts for breakfast. Waitress was terrific efficient and very funny. Food was outstanding, 6 different meals and all were delighted with their choice. View all feedback.
What lynn fair doesn't like about The Appalachian Trail Cafe:
The server was horrible. She forgot eggs for one order and didn't mark no onions/peppers on another ruining the breakfast. Overcharged for gluten free. Charged for gluten free and regular toast. Only response was my bad and I am not able to do anything about it. Very dismissive. View all feedback.
Here we are as authentic as it becomes. A true taste of Maine from homemade molasses donuts to the blueberry cake! Everything is authentic old world Maine here! I especially like their vegetarian choices, and very enjoyed their bean and cheese burrito. But everything here is amazing that it is for to die! They allow people who walked the Appalachian Trail to sign their ceiling tiles that are evil sweet. You have a super duper large ice sunflower that if you eat everything, you get a price. This is a must try restaurant for this Maine experience!
Excellent food and friendly staff making the best of a unique situation that most small businesses and restaurants are facing right now in the world of covid. I ordered a 'Wet Appalachian Trail burrito ' and fries. Who knew you could get a decent burrito this far from the Mexican border? Support your local small businesses. 10/10, would eat at again.
Great food, friendly staff, and an exciting vibe from all the ceiling tiles with the 'autographs ' of hundreds of AT finishers. Get the donuts they 're legendary. Millinocket is a special place, and the AT Cafe is a big reason for it. NOTE: the Cafe has been closing in mid October through the winter, so call ahead to be sure it 's open!
EXCELLENT service and outstanding food! Ordered steak and cheese wrap which was delicious! Loved the ceiling tiles, which are signed by thru-hikers on the AT! Will definitely return!
Friendly staffs and enough portion of homemade foods are so great. Just before or after hiking, you should go here.
