It is a little way out of La Cala but easily acces... read more Just returned from a delightful late lunch at this establishment which was Restaurante 4 Elementos last year. It is a little way out of La Cala but easily accessible from the Boardwalk in the direction of Las Mimosas. The owners appear to be Spanish but the pleasant helpful lady front of house soon used her phone to translate for us. I am ashamed to say that after many holidays in Spain we still do not speak the language. We enjoyed the House Salad which had Grapes, Walnuts, Cheese alongside the Lettuce, Tomato, Onion and Balsamic Dressing. Patatas Bravas were crispy with the Sauce on the side. We also ordered Huevos Rotos Jambon y Foi out of interest. This was Scrambled Egg Spanish Ham mixed with French Fries and was very tasty. I did feel that all our food was being freshly prepared. The total Bill including 2 Glasses of Rose , 1 large Beer.1 Desert and 2 Coffees was 40, 50 Euros which I thought was fair. There is outdoor seating but the interior is pleasant so a good place to seek out when the weather is not good. Closing day is Wednesday.

They didn't know what a Cafe Barruquito was but a guy at the bar told them it was from the Canaries. They looked it up, made it, tasted it and then added to menu and posted it online before we could finish it. Creative young owners. PS.... we are going back tomorrow before we leave Cala de Mijas. Best Rabo de Toro (oxtail) I have ever had in Spain!!!!

M... read more We stopped in for lunch maybe 3 weeks ago and dined outside. I had the fried seafood and it was outstanding. The place is clean, friendly, and well organized. My wife's beef was very tasty and sizzling hot.
