The Corner - Midway

Great food, great service, great location and view! We came to lunch while we visited family in the city and it was all we wanted and more. We sat on the beautiful terrace with mountain views and parasols. You also have a beautiful indoor dining room. I had the Cubano sandwich, YUM. We also shared the cookies with butter and jam, double jum! Don't take my word for it, just try. Special thanks to Emma our server, who was so friendly and attentive: I'm sorry we ate everything before I could grab a photo:P

New restaurant is amazing. We had the Mac and cheese with pulled pork, rich creamy little smokey from pork. Delish and Burger were great. Nice view. Benson was very attentive that the kitchen had a problem. Everything's great. Will be back.

Great food! We had 8 in our party and all of us were very happy! The restaurant Corner was all booked when we arrived, so we stood out to find out what to do and they called us back! Love the ambience. The waitress was cool and quiet and friendly and attentive to us. Absolutely return (with reservations). Great food. Great service!

Stop for dinner. We were welcomed by very friendly hosts. We decided to sit outside on the raised deck. The waitress Rochelle was great. The food was excellent, we ate the flank steak, pork ****, stroganoff and short rib. Every record was excellent. Thanks for an excellent experience.

As always I'm a food only rater so my 5 stars reflects the quality of the food. A must hit if you're in the area. We had the chicken and the stroganoff as well as a side of carrots and the cauliflower. Desserts we tried the carrot and coconut cakes. It was all excellent...I wouldn't have been able to think of how to make any of them better. In comparison with other similar type dishes as good as I've tasted. Sometimes restaurants have a tough time avoiding large pieces of white meat in birds from drying out. Not tonight at The Corner. It was moist and excellent! The atmosphere was likewise great looking, appeared clean etc. However we saw 2 tables by us that were never wiped down. Just cleared and new clean plates etc were placed and new patrons seated. So I'd go a 3 overall. 5 for appearance, layout, etc but a 1 for sanitizing. The service was very friendly but extremely slow. I'd have to give it a 1. Luckily never part of my rating, just noted.
