They ruined it, last time we were here it was a smooth experience. You got in and the way they had it set up few lines formed. New management decided all must enter at same time. We had a reservation at 3. Arrived at 2:50, not a single table is occupied still make us wait as foyer builds up. No one seated until 3:10. Biggest parties first so when we are seated half an hour after our reservation we have to wait just as long in line for our food. Whatever new management is here has absolutely ruined a previously great dining experience. I would say the manager should resign but such an action would require higher level of thought and self reflection than he posses.

The food here is actually pretty good, but unfortunately the restaurant service is pathetic and completely removes any hope of a pleasant dining experience. We are here with multiple couples and my wife waited 1.5 hours for her food. I asked our server 3times where her food was and was told ?it?s almost ready? over and over. The other couples actually finished their desertbefore my wife got her meal. Our server disappeared for a while so I actually got up and went to the hotel desk and got us somewater. No apologies, snub attitude. ZERO customer service. I have no idea how this place even stays in business. I understandThat sometimes restaurants just get too busy. But I really didn?t see very many other people here. Every other restaurant I?vebeen to, when they mess up and forget to bring a meal out, they at least offer to comp the meal as a courtesy. Not here. I donot blame our server for our horrible dining experience. I blame whoever manages this place and failed miserably to train theirteam on how to give their customers a pleasant dining experience.
Ah man, I don?t really enjoy doing this, but I value the reviews I read when trying a new place. If it weren?t for my waitress, it would probably be lower unfortunately. My bacon was just shattering, almost seemed as if it was microwaved. (I know it wasn?tbut that?s the feel) My egg wasn?t too bad, and the potatoes were very basic with the seasoning appearing to have beensprinkled on after the frying. I?m no chef but I wasn?t super pleased. The water?.is metallic. I get it?s an old building butyou gotta be drinking that water too correct? If not, it?s because of its taste. If so, you must be used to it. Thanks Simon, Ido wish the best for your restaurant.
Frozen food reheated. They won't be winning any food awards for reheated French fries and reheated ravioli. In a town known for good food they should be embarrassed, Well, they should be embarrassed in any town for not making their food. Come on, eventeens know how to make fresh french fries. Gordon Ramsay would say that the Chef doesn't care and has given up. $20 per personfor trash food. I wish they would at least try.
**Dining Experience at a Local Eatery: A Mixed Bag** This restaurant delivers a varied experience, marked by high prices that often do not match the quality of the food. Guests have noted atmospheres that can be charming and intimate, particularly during quieter nights. While some dishes, like the avocado toast and omelets, have received rave reviews for their taste and presentation, others, such as the mushroom Bolognese, fell flat. Service ranges from prompt and friendly to frustratingly slow. Overall, while some patrons may enjoy the comfort and aesthetic, others may find better value elsewhere. It's a place worth considering if convenience is a priority.

Came for Restaurant Week and opted against the special. Got a beet appetizer (not the most appealing presentation), wedge salad, and steak and frites. Steak was ordered medium and arrived raw. Took easily 20 minutes to get the steak back, and there were 3 tables seated. Staff is trying and friendly enough but doesn't appear to be trained or experienced at all. I suggest considering other options in Midway.
Wonderful dinner at Simon’s ! It was a Monday night and we had the restaurant to ourselves! Sitting by the fireplace and enjoying watching the snow fall outside ! The service was excellent and the food was amazing! The only downside was I wanted steak for dinner dinner and it was not on the menu that night
The actual menu was nothing like the on-line one. Food was great for vegans, but that was not what we were looking for. Server was very friendly and prompt. Atmosphere we nice but overall this was just okay and classified as a hotel restaurant. Pricey and just okay
The food was amazing! I got the avocado toast, and not only was it picture worthy, but the flavor was spot on. The service, however, left much to be desired. It took about five minutes to be coldly greeted, then another couple of minutes to be seated at a table that was ready to go. Upon seating, it took about twelve minutes to have our order taken, then ten more minutes to get coffee/tea service. When the food arrived, there was never a check back to ensure everything was correct, and it took us ten minutes after we had finished to have the server return (to another table) for us to ask for our check. What we thought would be a quick 30-45 minute breakfast took us double that.

My wife and I stopped at the Homestead inn a Sunday Afternoon drive. We had a nice lunch with a beautiful view overlooking the golf course. It was quite and pleasant with a piano playing in the background. I had the Heber Burger. I asked for some Mayo, they have me a garlic aioli. It was pretty darn good. I will go back. The food was pretty good, but the atmosphere was GREAT if you are looking for a quiet place to talk and enjoy someone's company, then look no further. This place a large enough so that you aren't sitting on top of your neighbor. It was a nice experience.
Beautiful place to dive at Homestead Resort! Beautiful dining room and great views from the big windows! Breakfast here was great and very cozy with the fireplace going and snow on the ground that expands the already beautiful view! Dined here during the stay at Homestead and it was a wonderful experience! Also a beautiful additional amenity they sold wine to the bottle, the need to go to the city and find a place that sold wine. The place also had a happy hour, which was also a nice touch!
I can't believe we skip this restaurant on our first day stay at our Hotel Homestead Resort.. This is unexpected – located in the resort's premises. And on our last night searching for dinner time we found the .. Surprisingly, the food was so incredible- so delicious and tasteful..
Wow new menu love it you use fresh ingredients Everything is amazing farm to table restaurant This is my favorite restaurant in Midway!! @95_chef_javi Good job people
This is a beautiful place to get a casual dinner in the area. The service is good, not great. The views from the large windows are beautiful. Free rolls were very good. My pot roast was delicious and all fried sides are delicious with excellent bread time. The Bison Chili was tasty and delicate as the ham and the bean soup. Resort was definitely not full, so speed was fast.
