Hibachio - Midlothian
Hibachio
Description
Nestled in Midlothian, this eatery presents a mixed culinary experience. While some diners rave about the generous portions of fresh sushi and flavorful fried rice, others raise concerns over meat quality and inconsistent service. The ambiance is likened to a classic diner with a touch of sushi flair, enhanced by a lovely patio adorned with flowers. Although it is on the pricier side, many appreciate the value for the quantity and quality provided. It's a spot worth visiting, albeit with some reservations regarding service efficiency and certain menu items.

Found this place to be mediocre at best. Wasn't very impressed with it, got rice bowl with steak as well as a spicy tuna roll. Spicy tuna roll was just kinda bland. Again, very average place, but probably decent for Midlothian. Won't be back try to anything else.
It's like a classic diner combined with sushi. I loved the little origami hung up as well. The place is pretty nice to get dine out. I dined in, and I got some of the spicy edamame. Which was actually spicy, fair warning. I enjoyed the sushi too, it was fresh, and not to badly priced.
What’s up with the beef they’re using? It seems to be cut from the lower-quality parts of the cow. It would be better to skip the beef entirely, as it clearly comes from cheaper cuts.
Number one. The fried rice is amazing. The sushi is amazing. The soup is amazing. This place here has been the biggest blessing to Midlothian. Yes. It's NOT cheap, it's quite pricey, A little too pricey, However as a small treat, It'll fill you up, They don't hold back on the amount of rice, sushi, topping, etc. They will give you what you paid for. Overall. Just eat here once. You won't regret it.
