Waited a LONG time for food, never received my order (rest of the table finally did), but the queso and service were good. The manager gave us a discount for the delay and issues without us asking, which was nice. Will try again. UPDATE- Tried the new location and was pleasantly surprised. The food was DELICIOUS

The quesadillas were dry small and very unappetizing for the price. Then we thought we would give them another chance when they moved to their new location. I had the street tacos and they were dry. I got some raw onions and a little bit of cilantro with them.I had to ask for sautéed onions and salsa. Also did not come with any kind of cheese, my wife ordered A tamale and a burrito, neither had cheese on it. It looked like it was from a TV dinner pack, and then thrown a plate. The nachos were six large tortilla chips with a dab of beans and a dab of cheese for 9 dollars. I paid $40 for a meal that was worth 10. They have a lot of work to do before I would consider going back there to eat.

We tried their new locatio... read more First, we are LONG time Jalapeños customers. They serve the best margs in Midlothian and their blanco queso is our absolute favorite. We tried their new location last week and were pleasantly surprised that most things are the exact same, just the way we like it. Their new building is spacious and love the new aesthetics. We were able to sit on the patio and their newly added misters and open breezeway was perfect! One thing I was very disappointed in.... The FRIES! And yes I know this is silly because fries aren't necessarily a staple at a good Mexican food restaurant. But they could at least be HOT. Was served cold, soggy fries with my jalapeño wrap, and it really put a damper on the plate. Plus, they are totally different cut fries. Bring back the thin cut, HOT fries please. We still love you Jalapenos! See you next week!
