Since January of this year... read more We have been coming to Jalapeños for a few years now and had nothing but good things to say about the food, service, and experience. Since January of this year we have had very poor service every visit. First, we went for a birthday lunch with my elderly grandmother, we waited about an hour for a table, then at least 30 minutes until we had anyone come to our table, and did not return to check in on us or provide our bill to pay. Very out of character from what we’d experienced previously. Next, when picking up an order they left out majority of our food and then when we came back the front hosts argued that it was correct even when showing our receipt. Then recently, when picking up an order with an expected 20 minute wait time, we waited an additional 50 minutes on top of that. The hosts and team had their backs turned talking to each other and not helping guests. The team would walk back and “look for the order” for a few minutes, then come back to the stand and turn their backs. I’m not sure if someone took over as new management, but we seem to have lost the Jalapeños we knew and loved. The staff prior to the new year were just incredible and went above and beyond and lately we’ve only had the opposite. Food is still good but the service has been very poor. Again, not at all what we’d like experienced prior to January and we’re disappointed to have lost what was once a hidden gem.

S... read more First of all food was great! Also, one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had! Ordered the fish tacos. They were excellent. Wife had the ground beef taco salad. She said it was good- but could have used more ground beef. Friends split the combo plate. All was good. The place was small parking hard to find. However they are moving to a bigger place. Our waitress was nice but unfortunately not the best.i think she was just overwhelmed. However, it’s all about the food! Highly recommend!
