Reviews - Pan
Reviews summary
Pan is a popular choice for breakfast in Midleton, with a reputation for hot meals. While some enjoy the food and friendly service, others find it bland and lacking in quality. The atmosphere is described as lacking character. Prompt service, average food quality, and a welcoming staff are highlighted, with a mix of positive and negative experiences from customers. The restaurant's health and safety measures and portion sizes are praised, particularly the pancakes. Overall, Pan offers efficient service, a variety of menu options, and a pleasant dining experience, making it a recommended choice for those in the area.
Was Anonym at Pan a mag?
Little bit of a wait but it's easy to see why it's so popular: tasty food served fast in a pleasant and warm cafe, with a lovely light-filled outdoor area well covered and heated too. Decent accessibility and no steps make this a good spot for people with mobility issues or prams. The pancake stacks are in particular were great generous and delicious, and looking very grammable! What Anonym dislikes about Pan:
Good food, unfortunately let down by rude waitress. Forgot some of our order and blamed us. Slammed glasses on table, ignored my children when they thanked her (although I wish they hadn't bothered, they obviously have more manners than her at and years of age). View all feedback.

Really enjoyed our visit, service good and mini breakfast spot on. Will be back
This was a very nice find and they had wonderful dishes and sandwiches for you to choose from. A nice fresh fish for the day and nice bowls of soup, and wonderful sandwiches that everyone enjoyed
We ordered coffee and sandwiches. Coffee came okay, but the food took so long we had to have it to go it went would have missed our train back to cork. That said, the food was great
Mini breakfast, 13.95 plus freshly squeezed orange juice. Added a second coffee so bill was 20.80. Can't fault anything

I recently had a breakfast meeting at this restaurant where we were seated in private booths. I ordered the mini breakfast which came with a nice pot of tea and three slices of sourdough toast. The service was quick and efficient. I overheard some customers asking to be seated outside in the back. I definitely plan on returning with my family next time.
Excellent taste and value! Great coffee and generous, tasty breakfast, had the Healthy breakfast option avocados with perfectly poached eggs, gorgeous brown bread so filling and well presented. Highly recommend!
Have had breakfast here many times, so time to write a review. Usually quite busy for breakfast but have never been waiting too long for a table. Staff are very nice and the food is consistently good. Nice fresh squeezed orange juice also. One of the better places for breakfast around.
Breakfast, was delicious and proper farmhouse portions. Staff very friendly, clean and efficient. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. . Americano coffee was top that accompanied the full Irish breakfast.
Visited here for breakfast with my wife , very pleasant staff , service very efficient, food top class , was one of the best breakfasts I have eaten out , could not possible find fault.

A pretty quirky soft colorful place. Very friendly staff. The Presentation of a Raspberry and a Vanilla muffin with cream very nice.

Only for a takeaway coffee immersed for a friend, but it would definitely encourage me to come back. A cozy but spacious interior with a good selection of lunches. The staff was efficient and the coffee looked like you would expect. 4.10 for a decaf oat cappuccino that could be for midleton on the par, but seemed a little expensive for retreat? I wish I could stay for some of the delicious looking cakes. Another day hopefully.
Seriously nice food, I had the little Irish and son had the American Biscoff pancake (picture) he couldn't finish it and after my breakfast I couldn't finish. Beautiful outdoor seating, which are covered and heated
Here came to eat for a bite, service was a little slow, but the food for it. We arrived after the lunch break and expected the usual left over lunch. Everything was nice and fresh and well dimensioned. The black pudding dish was excellent, would have had two of them if I were asked. I had tea, coffee and cheesecake. Biscuit base was a bit thin, but again, the quality for it. Nice taste of basils of cheesecake, not about powering, just enough. Great meal and highly recommended to go here.
While the service was nice, the food left much to be desired. The court I ordered had a chicken in it and this chicken was insulting Blande.
Large cafe in the centre of the city. Portion sizes are good and prices are better than most around them. The pancakes are particularly beautiful here! We often come here. I am now 7 or 8 times here and every time was as good as the other Only a brilliant spot Recommended
