Malt House - Feedback

Was Anonym at Malt House a mag?
Situated within the same building as the bar and gift shop at the former Jameson's distillery, now known as the Jameson Experience, Malt House is a charming restaurant with an impressive menu. While it took a little while to get our menus, the service was excellent overall. We both chose the fish cakes, and they were truly delicious. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Malt House:
The service at Malt House was excellent, but the fish and chips were disappointing. I had intended to return after my tour, only to find out they close at 3:00 PM. It's difficult to get a meal after a 2:00 PM tour. View all feedback.

This place was recommended by a friend and was advised to check it out...wasn't disappointed at all reasonable priced and great food and service would definitely go back there
Pretty standard pub with decent food. Service was good, but the fish n chips were pretty boring. I was hoping for slightly better food after spending a few hours touring the distillery.

Make sure to dine at the restaurant attached to the distillery. The seafood chowder and Irish bread are excellent, especially while enjoying a glass of Jameson Scotch.
We visited Midleton for a tour of the Jameson distillery and weren't sure where to have lunch, so we decided to try the Malt House restaurant. It turned out to be an excellent choice. The restaurant is set in a charming location, perfect for a midday meal. The staff were very friendly and even let us sample a few whiskeys similar to those featured on the tour. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The seafood chowder and pulled pork were especially impressive. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the distillery.
Located in the historic former Jameson's Distillery, the restaurant offers a delicious menu with standout dishes like fish cakes and seafood chowder. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is attentive, despite some minor hiccups. Prices are reasonable, and the food is well worth it, with generous portions and hot dishes. Overall, a fantastic choice for a meal, whether you're touring the distillery or not. The chef is accommodating to dietary restrictions and the staff is friendly. The seafood chowder and pulled pork are highly recommended, making Jameson Restaurant in Midleton a must-visit spot.

Malt House is a charming spot for a light meal. The ingredients are fresh, and the staff is friendly and attentive. If you have dietary restrictions, the chef is happy to prepare a custom dish tailored to your needs. We will certainly be coming back.
