I met a friend for a drink at short notice on Sunday and decided to get some food. Asked at the bar if they were still serving and the chef came out and said that he’d turned everything off but that he would happily cook anything I wanted! Lovely pub, really nice staff and the food was great. The chef even gave us extra food and then brought over a bowl of leftover roast potatoes. Was annoyed with myself I didn’t have any cash to leave a tip so thought I’d leave a review instead because we were
Been to the queens head for Sunday lunch today and it was the best roast I’ve had. The food and service was outstanding and the atmosphere is friendly warm and welcoming. A little gem in Eye. Leigh cooks incredible dishes and the staff Di, Sharon and Liam were attentive and extremely helpful. Beautiful place with wonderful people.
Excellent place friendly staff and locals. Busy place with excellent food and real ales. Earl Soham Victoria bitter top draw. Highly Recommended
We made a same-day reservation with no issues and had a choice of tables when we arrived. The staff was friendly and polite, and they were able to accommodate our children by adding baked beans to the fish finger wrap. The portions were large and we couldn't even fit in dessert! The steak burger was tasty, but a bit pricey considering it didn't include bacon and cheese. There was a bit of a wait for our food and the bill took a while to arrive, so we ended up going to the bar to pay. It was a busy lunch service, so we won't hold it against them. Overall, it was a pleasant family meal. Well done.
