A most delicious roast turkey meal with trimmings for lunch today. Excellent portions and quality food. Opted for the lemon tart for pud which was also moreish too. I only hope I manage to cook a tasty meal like this on Christmas Day! Well done to the chefs in the kitchen and the whole staff team at The Red Deer. Average in every way. Polite and helpful bar staff. Food took an age and was standard pub chain fare, albeit with some unusual items on the menu. Had to clear our table before we started. Our plates weren't removed before we left, an hour after finishing our food. Little atmosphere and located in a Tesco car park for even less character.
The staff at this restaurant, especially the Manager, were extremely helpful. If he's not already the Manager, he definitely should be. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. The location is lovely and the drinks and food were excellent. We will definitely be coming back soon.
The food and service at this restaurant are consistently great. It was packed on a Thursday night! All of our dishes arrived at the same time and were delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Fantastic pub, food was really good, lovely waitress named Meg took our order and service was excellent, will be coming back again soon!
I have returned to this restaurant several times after consistently enjoying delicious food and a warm welcome from the staff. The food is tasty and reasonably priced.

A most delicious roast turkey meal with trimmings for lunch today. Excellent portions and quality food. Opted for the lemon tart for pud which was also moreish too. I only hope I manage to cook a tasty meal like this on Christmas Day! Well done to the chefs in the kitchen and the whole staff team at The Red Deer. We had a table booked for 7 adults 5 children for a meal after a family Christmas event. The staff were great, nothing was too much trouble, they were polite, happy very helpful. Yes we had to wait a while for each course of our meal but that was due to it being so close to Christmas it being so busy. But the food made the wait worth while, it was really well cooked, well presented a good plate full too, even the children's meals were very generous portions. We will definitely be visiting again soon.
