Always love going to Costa as my children love getting a drink and cake. Last visit was in half term and we enjoyed our mid morning drinks, however since a change in management they have now allowed dogs in to the Cafe which is slightly...disappointing in my opinion despite Costa's policy to only allow guide dogs (which is understandable). Super friendly staff, clean and welcoming environment, and most importantly for me, vegan options! I never used to be a fan of this chain, but this branch changed my mind! There's usually a free table whenever I visit but there's healthy competition for the tucked away seating area. I love that they'll refill any reusable cup, not just own brand if you want to takeaway. They usually have some sort of cheap fundraiser going on and are a real asset to the town.

I recently had a great experience at this restaurant, despite a negative encounter with a woman about using the disabled toilets. Though my disability is not visible, I was shaken up by the incident. However, a kind staff member helped me calm down and made our experience much better. The hot cross-back latte we ordered was delicious, and the service overall was excellent. I regret not being able to thank the staff member properly for their assistance.
