Description

The restaurant at this service station offers a range of experiences that leave patrons divided. While some guests enjoyed delicious coffee and toasted sandwiches at reasonable prices, others reported issues with cleanliness, order accuracy, and staff demeanor. Overcrowding and safety concerns marred visits, with inadequate COVID-19 precautions and poorly stocked food options. However, a few staff members shone, demonstrating commendable service amidst the chaos. Overall, the establishment seems to struggle with maintaining consistent standards, leading many to reconsider future visits. For a quick break, travelers may want to explore alternatives before stopping here.

I had a deliciously creamy coffee with a rich flavor at this restaurant. The barista did a wonderful job, and Emily, our server, provided great service despite not feeling well. Keep up the good work, ladies!

The service at this restaurant was disappointing overall. Tables were not being cleaned by the staff and some were very dirty. Our order was incorrect, but the staff were polite about it. However, they also forgot a frappe. The frappe I did receive was watered down and lacking in cream. The prices were high, with a medium hot chocolate costing £4.15. Overall, it was a poor experience and I will make sure to avoid this restaurant next time I drive by.

While this service station is an older one and small it is very well run and the Costa Coffee shop is excellent. It was efficient, well run and clean. Well worth a quick stop off the M5 and miss out the busier one at Exeter.
