I've been visiting The Bottle Shop or its early incarnation in Beer Paradise around 2009. Every time I visit, more and more I am being hooked into the craft beer industry. Good thing the owner of Global Beer Exchange established a tasting room in Greenbelt, then formally on Magallanes. The branch of Bottle Shop in the Fort provided me my day to day needs for hops and great craft beer brands.Recently, The Bottle Shop is home to the growing local craft beer industry in the Philippines. If you are a beer aficionado, this is the place to be.Cheers and more power!!!
I have visited this restaurant so many times that I may be biased in writing this review, or maybe not? If you are a fan of craft beer like me, or just enjoy a cold beer, Bottle Shop is the place for you. While walking around the city the other day, I stumbled upon this place and I am so glad I did. The beer selection is extensive and you will need plenty of time to try them all – which is a good thing. The staff is knowledgeable and can answer any questions you have about specific beers. The restaurant is clean, has a great atmosphere, and is easily accessible from 5th Ave. in BGC. Don't forget to check out their event schedule. I hope you enjoy your experience as much as I did.
This bar is like an oasis in the desert of San Miguel. They have a wide selection of exceptional beers, both on tap and in bottles, from all over the world. It's a great spot for craft beer enthusiasts, with tasting notes and knowledgeable staff who are generous with samples. The tap selection mainly consists of high ABV IPAs, but they also offer a session beer called Boracay Blonde and bottles for those looking for something lighter. The bar has a beautiful design and a great atmosphere, with movies playing in the background to add some extra flair. My brothers and I, all real ale fans from the UK, made this our go-to spot for a nightcap while visiting. It's also a perfect place for me to enjoy a quiet beer after work. I highly recommend it.
Visited the British festival where they had a stand and took a leaflet. Went on Saturday after reading the reviews on here, what a wonderful place, fantastic simple design and great ambience. 13 draft beers to choose from and a delightful server Nica. Nica was very knowledgable about the beers and offered a few samples which was great. Definitely when I'm in the fort, which is most weeks I will visit again.
