What April P doesn't like about Taj Mahal Indian Cuisine:
I was disappointed in the 3/4 of a cup of rice per entrée that was in our take out order. That turned out to be the smallest disappointment. Makhani dishes were a really strange hot pink color and tasted weirdly sweet. The plain Naan was tough and the picture below is supposed to be Kabuli Naan (a Naan stuffed with dried nuts raisins,and sun dried cherries. what we got was plain naan with food color icing smeared on... Had an outstanding dinner here tonight. The butter chicken was perfect and I couldn’t stop eating the naan.
I have no idea why this place is only 3.8 stars! It definitely deserves 5 stars. AMAZING indian cuisine, great service and reasonably priced!
Absolutely best food in town. Exceeds expectations on so many levels such as incredible deliciousness, beautiful presentation and organization, excellent customer service. It feels as if you walked into India when entering their beautiful restaurant. Great people and great food!!! You will not find better between NOLA and Houston TX, per my experiences!! Phill.
Amazing restaurant. Food in m my opinion is so far the best Indian food I have tried here in Nola. Friendly staff. Owner was around answering my wife’s 100 questions she had about the menus! Lol! I highly recommend this restaurant!
