The ladies were very nice and accommodating. I ordered a cannoli King Cake and it was phenomenal! Admittedly, it did not taste exactly like a traditional cannoli. The bread had a light and fluffy texture. The filling was creamy and sweet and had a good cannoli flavor. It was probably the BEST king cake I have ever tasted. The best selection of imported Italian foodstuffs in metro New Orleans. The muffulettas are extremely generous in portions.

Found the acclaimed Muffaletta and met owner and Daughter. Read several reviews and wanted to see how I judged this sandwich. It is excellent for me. No faults found. I have eaten so many Muffalettas at Central over the last 54 years it is hard to compare one to another. I wish the new venture is successful. For me they are the two best muffulettas In New Orleans.
