Fausto's Bistro - Metairie

Delicious Veal Picata. An outstanding marinara sauce on the side of angel hair pasta. One friend had the stuffed shells while the other had meatballs and spaghetti. None of us were interested in sharing. The portions were generous and staff was attentive. Very reasonably priced for the quality and generous servings.

The atmosphere made you look like you were in Italy and everybody was really nice food was really good

So 3and a half stars. Food was good but not a wow factor. Service was good. They substituted a wine for the same price. It was ok but not as good. Did not have dessert. Place does not have enough room between tables. Not a place to go for quiet conversation.

Wonderful service, great eggplant. Damien is the best!!!

I don't want to tell you how good this place is because I don't want it to get hard to get into. I have been eating there on and off for fifteen years, and just had the best meal I ever had there. I have been to Italy many times and can tell you that these folks do it right. Go there!!!! (any night that I don't)!
