Went in tonite for my first time, only about 20 mins before closing. The hostess was very welcoming and friendly. Only wanted a to-go order, another waitress was cleaning up. The hostess recommended some of her favorites, one of which was the camarón enchiladas. ?. Wowzah!!! Very very good!! Also got a carnitas burrito, which was HUGE!!! What Casey Williams doesn't like about La Fonda Mexican:
Never been treated so badly. Ordered a tostada and it came out with a soggy shell. Response was maybe next time I order a tostada without the shell. (Um, yes, this is a real conversation) GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. This place is the worst I have had here by far. Didn't even do the professional thing and replace what they made badly...wow!! Good Hispanic meals at reasonable plruces.Food .Staff is friendly
1st time here, and we were just passing through. I had the chilreno with rice and beans, and my wife had cheese enchilada with a shredded beef taco.
The portion sizes were very generous, and the food was fantastic.
Food was good, service was fast and kind, but prices are too high for Mexican food. Looks like they are under construction too.
