A recent visit to this restaurant for an annual celebration left one customer extremely disappointed. From poorly made cocktails to finding an eggshell in a lamb dish to feeling underwhelmed by a pricey pasta, the experience fell short of expectations. Another reviewer noted that while the French onion soup was outstanding, the Elk special was dry and the fettuccine alfredo was lacking in texture and flavor. Despite some hiccups, a regular patron expressed their disappointment with a changed sandwich and burnt fries but indicated that it wouldn't deter them from returning. On the other hand, a hidden gem with intimate ambiance and attentive service received high praise for both the environment and the delicious food. Positive experiences were shared by those who enjoyed the lovely atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional service during their visits. From a well-planned birthday dinner to a smooth dining experience with friends, patrons seem to have differing opinions on the overall quality of their meals.
Salum continues to be one of our Dallas faves. Thank you Abraham for dishing up the best cuisine in Dallas and Rachel for making the experience always a memorable one!
Always wonderful! I had the Risotto with Lobster-sublime- and my dining partner had the Fish and Chips- a longtime favorite of his. Rachel our server always remembers our favorite drinks!
Another perfect lunch at this wonderful bistro. Wonderful service from Drew. Delicious pastrami on marbled rye and a ton of french fries prepared exactly the way I like them.
I visited for lunch and the place was empty during the lunch hour with a menu that offered little variety. The bread was good but the rest of the food was just ok. Would not recommend for lunch.
