Went on recommendation by none other than our kids. My wife and I are in our 60`s. This restaurant was amazing. We will definitely be back.
Unreal food! One of the best dinners we have ever had. Do the Omakase for sure. And our waiter Justin was amazing!!!
The entire dinner was not the experience we normally have. The taste and quality was lacking…the wagyu was beyond chewy. The Hama chili portions were off…we have eaten this dish 50+ times and were so disappointed this time. The fish was super thick and not every piece of fish had an orange to pair with it. The gyutoro was probably the biggest disappointment…we always start and end the meal with this and it was nothing but fat. Our waiter forgot multiple things…this being one of them that we end the night with this dish. He forgot my champagne. He brought the spicy kinoko nabe when we asked for the regular. I was extremely sad they decided to get rid of the sorbet trio and do a vegan gf sundae…it was disgusting. We were so sad to have spent our 11 year wedding anniversary at our favorite restaurant and be completely let down…especially since we drove almost 4 hours for it. Writing this review in hopes that it gets better for our next visit…
Great experience! Server was fantastic and really WOW’d for my friends birthday. The only awkward encounter we had was when we arrived and checked in for our reservation. The host made it very clear that our table was needed by 7:15. I understand turn times, but the dinner started off by rushing instead of being inviting.
