Fornacci Pizza More - Mesquite

Pros: Price. Cons: Not enough flavor or seasoning the crust by far is basic. The food I ordered most definitely didn't taste authentic or fresh. I came here based on the reviews however, I was deceived. Not even my toddler liked the pizza. Also the location doesn't look clean/sanitized. The employee mentioned they were slow and not getting enough business lately. NOW I SEE WHY. WON'T BE RETURNING, I RATHER EAT A FROZEN PIZZA FROM KROGER.

This is the best pizza I've had in the mesquite/Balch springs area!! 10/10 would recommend!!

My wife and I have ordered takeout from here three times this month alone, it’s really that good!“Fornacci” is located inside the Exxon gas station within the Albertson’s parking lot so it’s not very large, only taking up a corner of the convenience store but they’re putting out some fantastic food and friendly service!The cheese sticks were seasoned well, crunchy, hot and stringy. We get the pepperoni rolls every order because the dough has a great chew to it with a good amount of mozzarella and pepperoni in each bite. They come with marinara for dipping but I also get their homemade ranch. The pepperoni pizza was perfectly foldable, cheesy and delicious. You can tell it’s handmade and you absolutely can’t beat the price! The chicken sandwich is a game changer…it’s a huge breast fried in a peppery breading, I can’t stress enough how delicious it is! We get it the standard “Fornacci style” which means lettuce, tomato, pickles and a great garlic aioli sauce. I go a little further and remove the tomato but add bacon, cheese (American) and diced purple onion. *Perfection* It comes with seasoned fries or for a little more you can get the garlic fries, which are also very good. Don’t forget to get a side of the garlic aioli for dipping. The dessert fried dough is a perfect compliment to end the meal. They’re warm and liberally sprinkled with sugar and again, delicious! On our next visit, we plan to try the empenadas, calzone and stromboli.When you pick-up your order, you tell them your name and they’ll give you a handwritten receipt to give to the store cashier to the right for payment then you pick-up your order from the people who gave you the receipt. The owner/operator, Jeff, is very friendly and obviously works incredibly hard to put out his great products in a limited workspace. Was craving pizza because there's no uber or delivery in Georgia. So I found this on Door Dash and the pizza looked different than big chain places. I got my pizza and it was most definitely different in every way. The crust was amazing, the sauce was off the chain and flavor that is incredible! Best pizza ever!
