Pepe's Mexican - Merrillville

I ordered four pork tacos. I was anxious to get home to enjoy my tacos. Very disappointed, no flavor at all. Waste of money :

This place just continues to go downhill. I found a hair in my food about 6 months ago. They tried to pass it off as being a string from the cheese. Well. cheese is not dark brown. I tried to give it another chance today. The food was just horrible. The pork was tough and bland tasting with no flavor. The beans were over salted. The food is not fresh and it's obvious they take yesterdays left overs and reheat and serve the next day. The booth we were seated at was filthy as well. I will never be back.

I have always loved Pepe's and it used to be my favorite mexican restaurant. The last time I took my family there I found a large beetle in my chicken enchilada. It ruined my dinner and my family's as well. The waitress was hardly sorry. I am saddened because I will no longer eat there and I don't know of any good mexican restaurants in Merrillville. :

My favorite is the chicken tacos!!!!!!!
