Fantastic food and excellent service! They managed New Year's Eve remarkably well, just like any top restaurant would. Gamba ranks among the top two restaurants in Northwest Indiana, and it keeps getting better and better! View all feedback.
What Disappointed doesn't like about Gamba:
First they were out of two items we tried to order. The server was visibly not interested. My wife ordered Ravioli for $30 and got 7 pieces with no side. My special was the Scallops with spaghetti and it was spaghetti with a ton of pees and some small chopped up scallops. The taste was ok but I cook that good and would never use a cup of pees on anything. It wasn't busy at all so no excuses there. The company My Wife... View all feedback.

Hostess and service were great. The decor and ambiance are top notch. The food was pretty good. Started off with baked Crepe stuffed with smoked salmon. Very rich and delightful, the red sauce boiling in the cast iron was delicious except the smoked salmon was cold on the inside. Then, we enjoyed a perfect house Gamba Salad with house dressing. My main dish was pan seared swordfish with broccolini. The fish was fantastic, perfectly seared in butter. The red sauce did not belong on the plate. It did not go with the fish, I would have opted for buerre blanc. My wife ordered the ravioli stuffed with short ribs. The pasta was a little gummy but otherwise delicious. We had to try the Gelato, so we ordered the spumoni. The Gelato was great but almost ruined by the hersheys chocolate syrup drizzled on top.
The parking lot needs lights please! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
