We decided to visit the Merimbula Bowls Club Sapphire Bistro after reading the great reviews on Google, and we were certainly not let down. The atmosphere is cozy and bright, creating a pleasant dining experience. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and very helpful. We started with a delicious soup and garlic shrimp for our appetizers, and then we tackled a generous serving of chicken wings and ribs, which w... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Merimbula Imlay Bowling Club:
in the city for the night with the work and the oysters were great, unfortunately the crispy pork bauchspecial was not crispy and was like jelly. I was able to eat this meal, called the waitress and informed her about it and waited for a reply with nothing coming. View all feedback.
The service was outstanding; the staff went above and beyond, and no request was too much for them. Despite being busy, the food was served quickly, and every dish was cooked to perfection. The prices were reasonable as well. The entertainment was enjoyable. The only reason I didn't give it a full five stars is that there wasn't a designated kids' area, which would have made it more family-friendly for a large venue like this. It has great potential in that regard.
Delicious bistro meal! The quality is consistently outstanding and surpasses any lunch special in town. The dinner menu tonight was even more impressive. Kudos to Club Sapphire for a fantastic job!
The atmosphere at Club Sapphire is fantastic, providing a nice escape from the gaming machines. The dining area is quite spacious, which adds to the overall experience. Tonight's special was Slow Cooked Roast Ribs, and while the flavor was good, the presentation could use some improvement. The char-grilled eggplant was delicious and packed with flavor. The sole was a decent size and cooked just right—not overdone. However, similar to the ribs, the presentation lacked a bit of finesse. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with room for enhancement in presentation.
For a club bistro the menu was slightly limiting, and pricey, BUT.... the quality of food was exceptional, even down to the basic Roast of the Day, most succulent lamb I've had in ages). Waitress staff were run off their feet but still as friendly as you could hope for, all in all a good experience and would definitely return again
The venue is great with the large hall for the Jazz Festival.
