The trad... read more It's a very well maintained hotel with roots that go back almost 100 years when it was converted into it's present use from it's origin as a monestsry. The tradition of full service is well practiced. The rooms are quiet, spacious and clean, the restaurant is excellent and the staff are very professional.

As we were... read more We stayed overnight in the Paradores and wanted to taste some of the local specialties. Restaurant did have our booking, but opened 15 minutes late. As we were the first guests (at 20.45h), we got our menus quickly. After that service was slow, probably due to being understaffed. Once the food arrived, it turned out to be lukewarm at best. One steak was returned and came back microwaved, but warmer. We chose a red wine, not available. Chose a second bottle, again not available. Third one was ok. Food quality was good,but not exceptional.
