Despite our very rudimentary Spanish, my husband and I managed to order raciones of bacalao dorada (salt cod with chipsticks, like the Portuguese bacalhau à Brás) and pork with garlic, which were both delicious, plus a yummy bottle of local red wine, a draft beer, and some still mineral water. The staff were very friendly and bore with us. Would definitely recommend and go back. Total bill came to 25 euros.

We were taken by the very efficient service and the economical prices. It is a great place to rest as you traipse around this very hilly, historical provincial capital.
