This is not your everyday Spanish cuisine. While it does serve regional and typical favrites, it does so with a bit of panache. The wine list is above the normal cut.
Great Spanish atmosphere, good food and friendly staff. A definite for lunch, I would say!! Very close to the Parador and a lot cheesier too!!!
Found this bar/restaurant by chance, the food was superb, made better by the fantastic waiter, Tome, who helped us select our tapas and wine. We are sure you can get cheaper tapas, but not as fresh and superbly made, this was all enhanced by the friendly and personal attention of the waiter. J and M from NZ
After a week of eating the same, microwaved tapas it was great to find this place! Inventive, tasty and fresh food and a delicious salad that surpassed the iceberg lettuce eaten all week elsewhere. Certainly recommended.
Having had a great day seeing the roman ruins we were recommended to Barocco by the hotel It is next to Trajans Arch and has a bar upstaiirs where we had gin tonics then at 10 pm we went in and were lucky to get a table it was so busy The curried chicken and Fajetas were superb and we had very good service Prices also very reasonable Estupendo!
