My friends and I'm from belize studying in merida. one day we decided to visit this restaurant and it was the worst decision we made. the service was terrible,... read more My friends and I'm from belize studying in merida. one day we decided to visit this restaurant and it was the worst decision we made. the service was terrible, it took about half an hour until someone took our order. that was pleasant, but the portions were terrible. we ordered a cheesecake for dessert, and we got a piece of regular white cake, which tasted like packed cake. Every time I called a waiter, they rolled their eyes and looked into the other direction terrible.

Visited on a Friday night, not... read more The only thing good about this place is that the meat is seasoned well and the service is good, apart from that, not that great. Visited on a Friday night, not many people. Cook obviously had no idea how to cook a steak. Asked for med and got rare/raw on both steaks. Asked twice to have to meat cooked more and the cook FRIED the steak in oil and still didn't get it med, completely wrong way to cook a steak. Both times I got the steaks back they were covered in and dripping of oil. Mashed potatoes tasted like fake from a box, I can cook better mashed potatoes. Vegetables were supposed to be steamed, got grilled vegetables that weren't cooked enough. Corn was completely cold, couldn't event melt butter on it. Steak dinners are suppose to come with two sides each, but the server insisted that I had to pay extra for one of the sides. This place needs a cook that knows what he is doing and the portions of the sides needs to be better. For the $750 pesos I paid I was very disappointed with everything. 4.6 stars I was expecting something good, should be more like 3 stars.
