The coffe... read more I literally stumbled upon this coffee shop while walking around Merida...... from the moment I entered the staff was truly gracious and welcoming..... The coffee selection world-class and made perfectly...... they have several different machines to brew your coffee to you're liking from a Moka...to a syphon they will brew the coffee to your liking.....On my last trip I met their new chef who is making wonderful little creative dishes to satisfy your appetite.

The food is good and juices are great. Only the owner speaks English, so be prepared to explain in gestures if you want to be served while he is not there. The cafe is opened at 7:30, but the owner comes at 7:45, so you...better not to came earlier, because if the staff is not sure they got you right they just wait for the owner to check. The had our tours at 9 am every morning, so it was quite important to us to get breakfast asap. All in all the stuff is extremely friendly and nice. We had a breakfast there every day of our stay in Merida. Liked the place, liked the atmosphere in the place. Highly recommend.

I loved to sit on the wooden chairs on Saturday mornings at the slow food markets. On other weekdays it seems a bit deserted in this area. Good cake and a friendly owner. Decent value for price. Really miss taking my Saturday cappuccino there. Loved it : I was around regularly for several months! Das Café macht superguten Kaffee, für mich einen der besten in Merida. Aromatisch, nicht einfach extrem stark geröstet sauer, wie man den Kaffee oft in Merida bekommt, sondern richtig gut. Kuchen ist lecker, Preis-Leistung passt sehr gut. Der Chef ist nett und freut sich über nettes ein GUTEN MORGEN auf Deutsch, er spricht ein bisschen. ; Man sitzt schön draußen auf Holzstühlen, es ist vor allem ein genialer Platz zum Ausruhen beim slow food market am Samstag Morgen. I happened to stroll down this str... read more I was visiting the city and area for the first time. As a coffee lover I immediately looked for a place to get an ICED latte. I happened to stroll down this street and find this cafe. It also had the same name as a place near my home in L.A. aka Los Angeles. It was just very simple and home like in atmosphere. So the signs matched up! I went in and the owner and his staff were so nice (spoke english a plus) and made me an a nice cold iced vanilla latte, w/oatmilk. They even helped me order food at a nearby restaurant directly from the owner, and allowed me to eat my meal inside the coffee shop. The service by far was some of the best I've had as a tourist/traveler. The coffee and food were good too! I would recommend them if you're in the area!
