we had a good service and a nice lunch in this beautiful hotel restaurant. we enjoyed the guacamole as well as sikil pak, which is a pumpkin seeds dive as appetizers. we shared a club sandwich for our main court. a word of warning, the meals are extremely big! eating was very good, and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. we decided to dinate inside to use the air conditioning system, as it was almost 40° outside. What User dislikes about Mansión Mérida:
I don't need to visit this hotel to see the unpopularity it has gained thanks to the video circulating on Facebook and Twitter. Just search the name of this hotel and you'll see how the owner treats their guests. Avoid at all costs this place. I'm glad I read the comments and avoided scheduling a stay here in my next trip. We have tried various places to breakfast in merida, as our hotel has not offered it, and that was by far the best. we just came to the breakfast, but we were woven with the terrace and the food was delicious and service perfect. an amazing place.

We loved our stay in this unique and charming boutique hotel in Centro Merida. Great breakfast, very pretty pool and courtyard. Staff were kind and attentive. Restaurant makes good margaritas and pina coladas. Perfect location for exploring the Plaza Grande, Santa Lucia Square and historic buildings. Bed was very comfortable with good linens. Shower pressure was great and we even had a bathtub!
