Eating in restaurant coyote maya in merida was pretty cool. the location is quite central and the decoration inside is really impressive lighting, wall painting... read more Eating in restaurant coyote maya in merida was pretty cool. the location is quite central and the decoration inside is really impressive lighting, wall paintings, the mini replica of chichen itza.) many different areas to eat, whether outside on the street / terrace, inside of. the bar, the central dining room, etc. in the evening we were there, a gitarist was entertaining mozen with beautiful vocals and his tip jack showed it. Top brands for ambiente. we ordered a meal and drinks and we would say it was quite good, but not excellent (I guess apola and museo de la gastronomy yucatan much better for finer eating.) a little expensive for the actual quality. the service was decent although not much English. yet, to eat a good place and to hang in any case, for drinks and appetizers and music if they do not want to stay for a full meal.

Do not forget to have a shot of mezcal. it was a good proposal from our waiter. he made our experience in the restaurant even better.

It has an outdoo... read more I went to this place thinking that I could get a good meal,however, the food taste is not really special. The place has a very nice atmosphere. It has an outdoor area whi h is very nice Food is good but but just that. Portions...are really small, and prices are expensive if you have the food portions in consideration. My daughter requested an order of sopes of cochinita. At the end, in my bill I saw an extra. When I asked what was that they told me it was the cochinita for the sopes because they coulb be, only, prepared with chicken and chorizo (I think) but not with cochinita, so, they should charge it extra... not nice... Beverages... a small soda (no more than 250 ml) for about 1.5 USD... too expensive... The only good thing we found is the service received by our waitress. She was very corteous to us. Thank you! At the end, the experience was an average. Did not exceeded my expectations.
