this restaurant is part of a hotel. i only had dinner, but a friend of mine was staying at the hotel, and hw was pleased. the menu had a large variety of swiss specialities, but amongst all, the speck rösti was specially good. meant was also good. i missed some hunting specialities, since we were at the very high hunting season, but it was not the case. the desserts were also good. i recommend the vermicelles. the se... Although I’m not a fan of hotel restaurants, we came here because of various recommendations and it was well worth it. The service was excellent, the food absolutely delicious and the restaurant even accommodated on a Friday night for us with a high chair, a very efficient bib as well as a kids plate and cutlery. This was the first for us in any restaurant. My wife had the menu for 67CHF, which included a very tasty Nüssli Salat, a super delicious and not too creamy lentil cream soup, a very yummy Regschnitzel and a perfect ending of smashed Marroni with cream. I had the Rehpfeffer, which was very nice as well. Both main dishes came with homemade Spätzli, Red cabbage, brussel sprouts and a super delicious red wine pear and sauce. I would have given 5 stars, but what disturbed me was that we got charged 5CHF for a small plate of mushrooms, which were super delicious in the Nüssli salad to give it to our 18month old daughter. After having spent over CHF150 overall, it was a bit disappointing and I think it was not the waitress’ idea, but rather the manager’s who I ordered it from. : Overall a great evening and my wife wants to come back very soon and she is a very picky one when it comes to food. :

Made exceptionally welcome . A great place to enjoy Swiss hospitality. On the bus route for a picturesque journey down to historic Zug .
I can only recommend this pace, visited already several times during my business trips. Local Swiss food at it's best. Go give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
When you are around Zug area, this is the place to go! I'm living here and every time I need a break and some good food and wine I go there. Local Swiss style food with that extra touch. Whether Private, for business, with friends and or business partners, it's always a success! The owners, Andrea and Peter Hegglin, are mostly there, making sure everything is to your full satisfaction. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
