(Original) Getting there: Bus stop right in front of it. It is a 15 minute ride with bus no 2 from Zug train station up the hill. Lovely view. Food: they have a lunch menu but if you cant find anything you like (which is highly unlikely) ask for the main menu. We had liver with roesti but i dont like roesti so i ask if i could get rice and it was no bother at all . Will definitely go there again when in Zug.

Very friendly staff and an extremely appealing menu with many seasonal specialties and other specials. The food is really good and enough. The prices are very decent and affordable. The Edlibacherhof is also very suitable for families. We like to visit this good home-style restaurant again and again.

The Edlibacherhof is still a real pub, which is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare. The building is not a feast for the eyes, but the dining room is furnished with a lot of love and we really liked the subtle table decorations. We tasted everything from the wild menu and everything tasted wonderful. The terrine triathlon for the starter was a hit, the venison pepper tasted like a good venison pepper should taste, the venison schnitzel was wonderfully tender and the plentiful game side dishes were perfectly balanced. The service was super friendly, always attentive and the young chef personally came to each table to ask how it tasted. That's how it should be and of course it is rewarded with a well-deserved 5 stars.
