My partner is from new york and apparently, nowhere does bagels like (long island NY), we've been in Melbourne for 3 months now, and craving bagels.... we came... read more My partner is from new york and apparently, nowhere does bagels like (long island NY), we've been in Melbourne for 3 months now, and craving bagels.... we came across huff and we were pleasantly surprised!!!!! the bagels are SO NICE and even my partner agrees. we also love love love the chai almond lattes!!!! staff have always been attentive and friendly.

Cafe was very busy , most tables and eating benches were taken . I was met at the front counter by a abrupt young lady , seems she could not really care about what i was ordering only to move me along quickly . She seemed annoyed that I was not sure about my order . I decided in the minestrone soup and Rye bagel with a coffee . It took roughly around 20 mins for my soup to arrive with the bagel . Still no coffee . The young man who delivered my lunch to the bench basically through down the plate and grumbled something . Soup was ok , although a little sweet . The bagel was was covered in butter which I did not want . There is a real lack of on floor management, seems a lot of staff running around not smiling just trying to get though the busy period . Overall experience was average.

The last yime,... read more I've been there 3 times and came back because of the quality if the food (very tasty and great variety) but each time service has been very poor. The last yime, we were waiting outside for our order to be ready and after a while we came back inside to see our order just sitting on the counter, getting cold, and no one bothered telling us it was ready. We tried again and agin but won't go back.I don't like going to place that don't make you feel welcome!

Since discovering that I’m celiac, it's great to know I can still enjoy their food by simply swapping the bagel for a gluten-free bun. While it's more of a bun or a sandwich than a traditional bagel, it's still quite delicious because the fillings are fantastic. This place has definitely become a go-to for me!

I tried the onion poppy bagel with ham, egg, cheese, and beetroot relish and absolutely loved it. My partner ordered the ham, cheese, and avocado hollandaise bagel and also thoroughly enjoyed it. The prices are very reasonable for such tasty food.
