I love this spot! I never knew I'd be a polish food fan and was introduced to this place years ago on my first trip to Petoskey. I've been three times since and love the sample platter (which you will be encouraged to try if you are a first time guest), the Ruben, and the polish bean soup. My wife is not a soup fan and she ate half the bowl that's how good the soup was! You gotta check this place out. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Polish Kitchen:
I didn't expect to find a little Poland in the woods between Petoskey and Spring Harbor. They serve good Polish food. But their Guliash should be better. It should be as it classically is with a flavor of a Hungarian pepper, nut just black pepper added. View all feedback.
YUM! This restaurant is authentic and delicious. The zurek soup is AMAZING! The service is great, and did I mention that the pierogi is the best you'll ever have? Unfortunately, the restaurant has been closed for the last few months due to a new baby arrival. I look every day as I pass by, hoping they will reopen soon. The menu is great and the prices are very reasonable. Don't miss out on this place. Even if you think you don't like Polish food, you will after eating here. I'll post some photos next time - and there will definitely be a next time!
This is a fantastic restaurant, owned and operated by a family, serving delicious home-cooked Polish comfort food. The staff was friendly and welcoming. My wife loved the pierogis she ordered, bursting with flavor. She couldn't get enough of them. I had the Bigos stew, and was served a generous portion that I thoroughly enjoyed. The combination of pork, kielbasa, carrots, and sauerkraut was incredibly tasty. I couldn't resist the smoky kielbasa, tender pork, and sweet carrots paired with the tangy sauerkraut. This restaurant is a hidden gem that is definitely worth a visit for delicious Polish cuisine.
This restaurant is incredible! The Polish food is truly authentic. It can get busy because it's so popular, but I highly recommend trying it out. They even offer gluten-free options.
Delicious!! My husband?s family is Polish, and this was the first authentic Polish food he has had in 20 years. The pierogies were so good! My husband said they tasted exactly like the ones his grandma used to make. My favorite were the potato-cheesepierogies. The kielbasa was also really good, and I?m not usually a sausage fan. We had 3 crepes for dessert, and the strawberrywas my favorite. The cost was very reasonable, and the guy who took our order and brought us our food was extremely nice andhelpful. Overall a fantastic experience for Polish food!
What a treasure! The food at this restaurant is amazing. We had a little wait for our food in a group of 6 due to covid staffing issues, but it was well worth it. Everyone loved what they ordered. Pictured here is the goulash with potato pancakes. The tasteand temperature were both perfect. Highly recommend.
