Moose Jaw Junction - Pellston

We enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip and potato skins for appetizers, both of which were delicious and offered generous portions. We also tried the Petosky Brewery Juicy beer, which was fresh and served in large mugs. The staff and owners were very friendly, and the restaurant has a rich history tied to the local area. We definitely plan to return!

Despite being somewhat out of the way, this restaurant offered fantastic food. We tried five different dinners, and everyone was pleased. The whitefish, Mexican dishes, and lake lobster were all exceptional. Smiles all around!

We chose to dine here first because of its unique name—how could you resist Moose Jaw Junction? The menu offered a pleasing variety of dishes, the prices were very reasonable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. One young man, who I assume was a busboy, really went above and beyond to ensure our drinks were refilled and that we had everything we needed. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his fish and chips, and I had the medium pizza, which was still delicious for lunch the next day (enough for two!). I also appreciated that the owner, or possibly the manager, took the time to chat with each table to ensure everyone was satisfied. I highly recommend taking a detour to enjoy a good, relaxing meal in a lovely setting and to learn a bit about the history of Moose Jaw Junction.

The white fish was the best I've ever had, and the burrito was fantastic as well! My husband and I shared both dishes. The service was excellent, and it was a delightful surprise to see the management actively greeting customers and overseeing the restaurant! More places should do this! It's always refreshing to see management engaged with patrons. My husband and I used to be servers ourselves, so we truly appreciate great service and delicious food. We always tip well!

During our first visit to this restaurant, we were impressed by the delicious food and outstanding service. Even though we expected to wait forty minutes to be seated, as it was quite busy on that fall Saturday, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated in just 20 minutes. Our server, Melissa, was fantastic, and everyone in our group of six enjoyed their meals. I highly recommend trying The Jaw burger with fries!
