Silky, beautifully balanced soup; hearty mains with probably the most delicious, interesting pub veg I can remember and clever, comforting dessert. Lovely service and cosy ambience. Excellent value too.

Well priced and well cooked food, nice outdoor seating both front and back of pub and the occasional toot of the lovely old steam engine at East Cranmore Station adds to the ambience. I thoroughly recommend! The nut roast on Sunday is delicious btw!
