First time I'd been since the pub's reopening. Food superb. Silky, beautifully balanced soup; hearty mains with probably the most delicious, interesting pub veg I can remember and clever, comforting dessert. Lovely service and cosy ambience. Excellent value too.
We had a lovely meal on a cosy Friday night, sat by the open fire in the restaurant! The food was excellent.
Superb Sunday Lunch in this really nice old Pub. Run by a very friendly and welcoming couple. Obviously a good Chef in The Kitchen. We will certainly return and would definitely recommend to others.
Great friendly pub in lovely location serving delicious food! We loved are last two visits. Well priced and well cooked food, nice outdoor seating both front and back of pub and the occasional toot of the lovely old steam engine at East Cranmore Station adds to the ambience. I thoroughly recommend! The nut roast on Sunday is delicious btw!
