had only a nice meal in the hut thatched, the decor is so beautiful in this beautiful graphic pub! eating was fab, we had two frying, veg lasagne hühnerburger. we were greeted by the beautiful martha, she was so beautiful! happy and bubbly! Also at the order of the hühnerburger asked my partner about the cheese sauce, our waitress jeanie was so courteous, she went and got a little to try for him. beautiful pub, good... What Diane P doesn't like about Thatched Cottage:
The sign says open all day for food from 12, how misleading. Arrived at 12.15pm to be asked if we had booked, we hadn’t. Was then told couldn’t order until 1pm. Went back at 1pm to be asked the same question then told no we couldn’t order food. They weren’t exactly fully booked or even close. No customer service or explanation as to why food wasn’t available, but the sign needs to be changed as it’s not worth parking... View all feedback.

Had a surprise anniversary for my parents on Saturday. I could not be asked for helpful staff while I organized it and the two involved who were in the night also fantastic. mete the cook before the evening and he was very courteous. very recommended for functions. thanks!
They enjoy a birthday dinner there yesterday,food excellent and good value for the price and the staff that served us was very friendly and professional
I called after a walk through the opposite for a pint. the bar staff was very friendly and friendly, like the owners. very nice bar and the service is exceptional.
Fantastic food and made to feel very welcome by all of the staff. Delicious meal in a lovely restaurant- thankyou
